Basic Neighborly Visit

" Short and sweet" sums up this half hour visit to stop by and see how our clients are doing. We offer caring conversation and a helping hand, and pay close attention to how our clients are feeling. Afterward, we post a summary of our visit to your secure account to share with friends and family as you see fit.

Availability: These visits are available individually, or at a discounted price for a 5 visit package, Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.  These visits are also available on weekends, between 9 am and 5 pm, if purchased as part of our All Week Long care package (7 visits for 7 consecutive days).

Once you order the service, we typically call the client on the same business day to schedule our visit(s) within the next few days (at our client' s convenience).

Telephone Visit

Sometimes a scheduled 5 to 10 minute phone call, from a real person, is all our client wants or needs. We love to visit over the phone as well as in person!

At this price, why not have us call several times a day?  We also offer a telephone assurance service when you purchase phone visit care packages.  As always, we post a summary of each visit to your secure account to share with friends and family as you see fit.

Hospital Visit

We know from personal experience that hospitalizations sometimes involve especially worrisome circumstances - not only for our clients, but for their families as well. For those times, we offer families our special Hospital Visit. Let us do the waiting for you.

We will wait with our client for the test results, the move to the new room, the discharge papers... we will even wait for the physician to make rounds so you can talk to him or her over the phone. All you need to do is tell us how you would like to be contacted and you will get the next best thing to being in two places at the same time.

Rates and Availability: Our basic rate is based on an hour-and-a-half visit during business hours.  However, we try to make these visits available at all times and for as long as you need us.  Our rates per hour may vary according to the times of day or night requested and the amount of lead time we have to find a provider.  If you have any questions, please call our office to schedule this special service, 615-283-0124.

5 Days a Week Visits

All Week Long Visits

Get full week coverage when you purchase this package of 7 Basic Visits on any 7 consecutive days (except major holidays).

Family - Provider Conferences

For those of you who would like to talk to our providers first hand, we will gladly schedule a 30 minute phone call to discuss our clients' care.  These calls are arranged through our office as part of our providers' work day, M-F 9-5 CST. 

Please note your preferred days and times in your " Special Instructions to Providers" in Step 3.
 

Social Call: Extend any in-person visit by half an hour for more care and conversation.

We would be glad to visit with you for an extra half hour. Perhaps you would like us to help you put away groceries, make lists or phone calls, take pictures, use email, or simply enjoy each other' s company.

Helping Hands: Extend any in-person visit by an hour

We would be delighted to visit with you for an extra hour.  Perhaps you would like us to work with you on some forms or give you some incidental household assistance (no housecleaning, please).  We could help you move boxes or storage bins (< 30 lbs.), gather recycling, throw out papers, fold laundry, etc.   

Some of our clients' families like us to transcribe some of their family history and precious memories in these longer visits.  What a neat way to spend time together!

Working Together: Extend any in-person visit by an hour and a half.

We would love to visit with you for an extra hour and a half to work with you on a bigger project.  Perhaps you would like some organizational support.  We would be glad to provide you with incidental household assistance (still no housecleaning, please). Together, we could clean closets, pack items, organize papers, reorganize cabinets, etc.

Some of our clients' families like us to transcribe some of their family history and precious memories in these longer visits.  What a neat way to spend time together!

Telephone Assurance Program

Add a layer of security to any set of scheduled telephone visits.  Order any phone visit package and tell us who to contact if no one answers.  We' ll take it from there.

If there is no answer at the appointed time for our phone visit, we will call back every 10 minutes for half an hour.  If there is still no answer, we will call your designated backup person, which could be a family member, a local contact, or the local authorities.

You may choose us to be your backup, although this service is expensive.  Choosing Linear Ducks as a backup means that you are authorizing us to make an unscheduled Urgent Visit to our client' s home if he or she does not answer, to see for ourselves that he or she is ok.  We will keep in touch with you as much as possible throughout the Urgent Visit.  The cost of an Urgent Visit is $75 and you are agreeing to pay if we make it, whether the situation turns out to be a true emergency or not.

Get groceries delivered with any in-person visit! This service includes a pre-loaded Publix or Kroger card in the amount of $25 and an $8 personal shopping charge. When you customize your services, simply submit your grocery list. We will purchase the groceries on your list and deliver the groceries, the receipt, and the card (with the account balance) at any designated in-person visit.

Get groceries delivered with any in-person visit! This service includes a pre-loaded Publix or Kroger card in the amount of $50 and a $10 personal shopping charge. When you customize your services, simply submit your grocery list. We will purchase the groceries on your list and deliver the groceries, the receipt, and the card (with the account balance) at any designated in-person visit.

When you customize your services, simply submit your grocery list. We will purchase the groceries on your list and deliver the groceries, the receipt, and the card (with the account balance) at any designated in-person visit.

Floral Bouquet (sm): Appropriate for any occasion, big or small.

We will arrive for one of our in-person visits with a lovely bouquet of flowers wrapped in cellophane and a hand-written card with your message on it. A terrific value.

We will arrive for one of our in-person visits with a beautiful, generous bouquet of flowers wrapped in cellophane and a hand-written card with your message on it.  So very thoughtful.

We will arrive for one of our in-person visits with a gloriously large bouquet of flowers wrapped in paper and a hand-written card with your message on it.  For the special times when you would like to spoil the recipient lavishly.

Add Vase

Add a vase to any floral delivery and we will arrange and deliver the flowers in an appropriately sized vase, instead of in cellophane or paper.
