Scheduling Policy

Scheduling Policy: We work hard to schedule every visit in as timely a manner as possible. Once you order a service, we typically call our client the same business day to schedule any services requested for the current week, as well as any recurring services, at our client's convenience.

You may track our visits at any time, using the My Calendar feature. Visits that have been scheduled will appear in black, while visits that have been completed (with a report) will appear in blue.

If you request a visit beyond the current week and it is not a recurring service, we will call to schedule the visit at the beginning of that week.

If you have any special requests, regarding the timing or place of visit, please edit your order at Step 2 to leave instructions to the Provider and we will try our best to accommodate your requests.

When are you open? For example, when can I speak to someone about scheduling?

Our normal business hours are M-F, 9-5 CST. Our phone number is 615-283-0124 and we are always happy to talk to you during business hours.

If your scheduling concerns are not urgent, you may also write your scheduling preferences in the “Special Instructions to Providers” in Step 3 of the Ordering Services process online. Providers see those notes when they are ready to schedule their visits.

When do you make visits, both in-person and over the phone? And can I order visits to occur on a weekend?

All of our in-person neighborly visits are typically offered M-F 9-5. All of our telephone visits are typically offered M-Su 9-5.

We do offer after-hours care as part of our “all week long” service packages (designed to give you coverage for 7 consecutive days) and as part of our telephone care. As part of these packages, Saturday and Sunday in-person visits may be scheduled between 9-5 and telephone visits may be scheduled for evenings from 5-8, to give you the security of a telephone visit after the dinner hour.

If you are considering using us for after-hours care, please read the following two paragraphs carefully.

Most requests for after-hours services are typically processed and scheduled during our normal business day: for example, requests for all week long visits may be received, assigned and scheduled on a Friday, so there is usually no problem in ordering visits to occur on a weekend. Similarly, we may receive a request for evening telephone visits during a weekday, when it is no problem to schedule those to occur later that day.

However, if you have a service request to start “all week long” visits or telephone visits after-hours and you wish to make that request after-hours (for example, if it is Saturday and you would like to ask us to visit all week from Sunday through Saturday), please use the Contact Us form, with the subject titled “Urgent”, to see if we can accommodate your specific request. We will try to get back to you very quickly with an answer. Otherwise, any services you order will be processed on the next business day.
